Kindergarten and First Grade will be working with the Coppell Lions Club to provide food and toys for more than 100 Coppell families during the holidays. Please bring canned food items and/or a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Coppell Lions Club. We will be collecting canned goods and toys from December 2nd to December 19th. You may drop your items by the TCE giving tree in the front of the school. THANK YOU for your donation!!

Monday: Bring a pillow, small stuffed animal, and a blanket for a special movie day
Tuesday: Bring a game to class for a little bit of fun with friends
Wednesday: Polar Express Day--wear your pajamas and slippers
Thursday: Class Party Day 2:00-3:00
Friday: Choose your lunch table and sit with a friend from another first grade class
December 19th - Winter Party (2:00 - 3:00) All parents are welcome!!
December 20th - Early Release 12:15
December 23rd - January 3rd - Winter Break/No School
January 6th - School resumes
January 8th - Wacky Wednesday schedule

Language Arts:- Spelling: There will be NO SPELLING next week.
- We will spend next week doing some fun holiday reading and writing. 'Tis the season!!
Thank you for helping your child at home with these projects. We LOVED listening to different celebrations from many different cultures. Next week we will talk about more holidays and traditions from around the world! If you haven't turned in your project, Monday is the last day to present your family's custom/tradition.
Math:
We will spend next week solving and generating word problems.

Discussions At Home:
Have fun with your children counting! Count backwards from 120 to 1, count by 5's to 120, count by 2's to 120! Discuss the patterns you see when you are counting.
In Other News:
Please don't forget that on December 20th, we will have an early release day at 12:15.Don't forget that library books are due on Monday. We have had less and less learners be able to check out books from our library because they haven't brought their old books back.
